Freya Mangopolitan Bikini

Yeah summer! I get to finally wear my new Freya Mangopolitan Underwire Balcony Bikini Top and Freya Mangopolitan Retro Bikini Brief !

I adore the pattern on this suit. It's so cute and funky. I love retro-style prints and this one has got character and color that just pop! Paired with tanned skin, the vibrant pink hues look so good. The fit is fabulous for just about any shape. And that name? Mangopolitian? That just makes it even more adorable.

Goddess Corset, Will You Marry Me?

I wrote about the Le Mystere bridal bodysuit last week and now I'm going to boast about the Goddess 710. This fabu corset sucks it all in but lets the important fun parts push out. What I'm getting at ladies it that you're middle will look teeny and your boobies will look dreamy. Who doesn't want that vixen look?

Sure it's called a bridal corset but you can wear it under any formal piece. Heck, you could even toss it on with some garters and wear nothing else. Yeowzers!

I seek a corset obsession in my near future. I got my first corset last year and slowy but surely I am finding myself constantly drawn to them. They are truly magical must-haves for any gal.

Le Mystere Bridal and Bodysuit

In need of a bridal bra? I suggest the Le Mystere Bridal Bustierr. It's got a unique design that fits your body like a glove. A fancy, soon to be hitched glove.

I wore this bustier with my mermaid style dress and damn did I have an hour glass figure! Really I looked like Jessica Rabbit except not a two dimensional cartoon :)

It also has removable garters which I think are killer sexy. And with removable straps you can wear it a couple different ways.

I also really dig the the Le Mystere Sangria Bodysuit. It creates an awesome seamless shape underneath tighty dresses ( like the kind I tend to wear)

With molded bra cups your chest will totally impress. And the straps can be converted 5 ways: traditional, strapless, criss-cross, halter, or wide-cut. Add a thong cut and snap closure, damn does it get better than this?

More Wacoal Bra Love

The Wacoal iBra Push Up Bra is made from this really cool material that gives a neato lift to my knockers. It accentuates and creates. I am mad for this lingerie masterpiece. I assume my date is mad for it too since it gives me cleavage Pam Anderson would envy.

Okay maybe I took that Pam Anderson comment too far but hey, my boobs look awesome!

And with a price tag of only $53, this push up bra is hard to refuse.

While we're on the Wacoal topic. The Wacoal Petites Padded T-Back Bra also offers amazing fullness and support. I also dig the t-back straps, they go great with certain tanks.

Wacoal Bralettes

I love finding a great tank top bra. I basically live in tanks and the Wacoal Simple Pleasures Bralette is perfect under thin little tops. It's lightweight with a little lift.

I also really like the Wacoal B-Smooth Seamless Matte Bra Top. It's also ideal for girls like me who prefer a supportive tank style bra in the summer rather than some big ol' complicated traditional bra.

These two bras remind me of ballet gear. As a former dancer they are really my favs to wear.

Bigger Breasts with Ritratti

I have boobs! Well a bit bigger and shapely boobs thanks to the Ritratti Sensation Plunge Bra! This bra has these unique baby oil pads in the padded cups that create a look that appears and feels natural.

I have worn padded bras before.
Okay fine, I always wear padded bras.
But this one, this one is the tops. The tops I tell you! Combining the lift and fullness of the padding with the deep plunge, I look insanely busty. Well for my bod, i look insanely busty. For all you natural C cups or above you probably would laugh at my tiny top. None the less, I'm a huge fan of the Ritratti Sensation Plunge Bra. Huge, get it? Huge like my new huge boobs.

Chantelle Bras

THe Chantelle 2031 is my latest bra obsession. The Chantelle Hedona Underwire Bra is super supportive with a built in underwire. I love the satin style and precious lace embroidery. Its an attractive bra but practical enough to wear regularly. However I try not to wear it everyday because you should never wear the same bra two days in a row. Perspiration can cause elastic to deteriorate. Rotate your bras so they have a chance to rest.

I also really like the Chantelle 2895. The Chantelle Body Sculpt T-Shirt Bra has seamless cups which look perfect under almost any top ( I hate when you can see bras though shirts). The stripe design on band gives it a youthful, sporty style.

Summer shopping

I know swim wear isn't really lingerie but it kinda is so I'm going to blog about it here.

My top pick for a suit this season is the Karla Colletto Cross Over Solids Underwire Bathing Suit. It comes in a sexy scarlett shade that is sure to look awesome with a tan.

I usually wear two pieces but I'm in the market for a new one piece simply because it seems tacky to wear a two piece to the pool at my gym. I stupidly did that once and felt like a big jerk. Especially while sharing a lap lane with a creepy old guy. His eyes were on me and not the lane ahead of him causing him to smash face first into a child. Oh well, I guess that means I'm looking good these days ;)

But really every woman should own a one piece, it's a wardrobe staple.

On that note, I'm off to order my scarlett suit!

Looks like my favorite shop Linda's is getting some love from Yahoo. I was researching bra shops online and oddly enough Linda's came up first when I typed in bra fitting in NY. Guess there was no need for me to look elsewhere.

Sports Bras for Busty Babes

My best friend is well endowed and has a hard time finding sports bras that will support her chest when we go workout. I directed to Linda's bra store in NYC assuring her that if anyone knew about a solid, supportive larger sized sports bra it would be Linda.

Sure enough my BFF walked out of Lindas with three sports bras that she now swears by. Mind you I am not a large chested girl so i can't give you a first hand report of these bra but according to my friend the following are excellent sports bras for larger women:

While I may not wear these bras I can confirm that my girlfriend has been running faster and complaining less since she began wearing these bras. So if you're in need of some extra sports support check out the links above.

I just bought this Simone Perele Delices Bra and the Simone Perele Delices Demi Cup Bra and I must say I can't decide which I love more. They are so girly and sweet. I am very pleased with my purchases. Very pleased.

Bra Fitting in New York

As you many have noticed by now I am an avid Linda the Bra Lady fan. You may even call me obsessed. But hey, when I like something, I like something. (I used to have a blog all about peanut butter. I know I am a nut! Pun intended!)

But seriously folks, after getting to know everything I could about bras, bra accessories, and fittings and , I decided I need some live, one on one bra knowledge so I went to get a bra fitting in New York, NY by the queen of underthings, Linda!

Linda's bra store is a lingerie lovers dream come true. Her shop is filled with bras, panties and sales women who know a lot of about under things (even more than me!)
I spent almost two hours in there, looking at bras, trying on bras, and of course buying waaay too many bras.

Linda gave me a fitting I will never forget. She got me into the right size, a 36 C. AS may recall from a previous post I had also discovered my incorrect size using her at-home bra fitting. Guess this means Linda's online directions are indeed correct (and perhaps I am also a bra wiz).

So if you're in NYC make sure you head to Linda's Bra Salon. Trust me, you'll walk out of there happy (and holding lots of new, fun, bras!)

Wouldn't it be nice to buy bras without having to leave the comfort of your computer? A bra that's stylish? A bra that's supportive? A bra that actually fits right?

Bra Fitting Done Right!

I can never find a bra that fits perfectly. Either the straps fall or the cups don't quite give me the right coverage. Fed up, I decided I needed to get a professional fitting.

So after some internet research on bra fitting I decided to visit Linda's online store. Her site gives detailed instructions on how to measure yourself and find the best bra.

In just minutes I discovered that I was not the 34B I had always thought I was and that in fact I was a 36c! It may not sound like a big difference but it is! I got my new 36c bras from Linda in the mail yesterday and the difference is mind-blowing. I not only feel better but look better.

Bras in New York

Sure it's hard getting a cab in New York City. Try getting a bra that fits! You'd think that with a zillion shops the task would be simple. But no.

I mean, if an uncomfortable, unattractive bra is what you crave than it's an easy goal to accomplish.

But if a comfortable, well-fitted, shape-enhancing bra is what you desire than the challenge can be daunting. Daunting, I say!

You'd think finding a good bra would simply require a few try-ons and poof! You've got great looking tits!

Oh if only there were such a bra fairy to make such dreams come true...

Well there is.

Okay maybe not a fairy, but a damn good bra expert. Her name is Linda and she has made the burden of bra shopping a pleasurable experience.

Her sweet shop is located on 63rd and Lexington Ave. From what I hear it's a lingerie lover's paradise, filled with endless selections of beautiful bras! My best friend went last year and gushed over the wonderful sales gals who want to help you find a a good fit. She said they are patient and smart and helped her and her sister find perfect pieces to fit their bits n' pieces.

I plan to check out Linda's when I visit NYC next week and I will for sure be reporting my experiences here. Can't wait!

Strapless Bras!

I love a good strapless bra. For a long time I'd fudge about with loose fabric bras that offered no support only because they lay nicely under strapless tops and dresses.

Sometimes I went sans bra which just looked bad.

Then finally I found it. My favorite strapless bra, the Fantasie Moulded Strapless Bra. It's got molded cups that hold you breasts in beautiful place. And its super comfortable. Last month I got it in both black and nude. (Yikes, somebody's credit card is on its way to getting maxed out at Linda's!)

Of course as a matching perfectionist I had to get some thongs to match, so I settled on a few pairs of the commando tiny thong (yes its just like the name indicates: tiny and barely there). I love them!

So now I'm strapless, seamless and stylin' Thanks Linda!

Lucy Loves Bras & Panties
